The numerous social challenges facing the society has created limitless career and self-employment opportunities for creative young men and women with fresh ideas for addressing these societal problems. In other words, many young people can begin to proffer solutions and take steps to implement programmes that address the various challenges facing the nation.
Our youths can generate ideas and solutions that address the societies’ problems in form of new ventures that can create jobs and employment opportunities for themselves and others. My interactions with many youths show that there are thousands of youths out there with powerful and potential ideas for solving the nation's social problems and creating employment opportunities, but are stuck because they don't know how to proceed.
It is for this purpose that CDI Nigeria is conducting training and mentorship in social entrepreneurship and civic innovation for youths to develop the necessary critical skills and competencies to positively engage the society and become involved in providing solutions to very many challenges facing the nation, while creating new jobs and self-employment opportunities that address the persistent youth unemployment.
The Training will come in two folds:
Empowering prospective social entrepreneurs who will be creating businesses and opportunities for self-employment.
Bridging the workforce knowledge gap by preparing others with knowledge and skills for suitable employment in social organizations.

Who can attend?
The training is open to anyone. It will be especially relevant to youths, undergraduates of higher institutions, serving and ex corps members, those working in public and private sectors, and other interested individuals
.Course Duration: One weeks.
Time; 9:00 am – 5:00 pm daily
Venue: Abuja Office, CDI Nigeria, Office Complex, Suite B, Block 1, Beside GTBank, University of Abuja Teaching Hospital Road, Gwagwalada, FCT – Abuja.
Course fee: N120, 000 this includes the registration fee, cost of the training, course materials, workshop bag, light refreshment and meals.
